premature ejaculation is defined as “a persistent or recurrent pattern of ejaculation occurring during partnered sexual activity within about one minute following vaginal penetration and before the individual wishes it.”

Previous experience of premature ejaculation may cause worry and anxiety, which makes it even harder for men to control ejaculation.
Sexual Over-Excitement
Too much excitement during sex can be caused by prolonged period of sexual inactivity, too much arousal or excitement, which may cause premature ejaculation.
Habit of quick masturbation may cause the brain to be more sensitive to sexual stimulation and hence premature ejaculation may happen during sex. For instance, some teenagers may shorten the time of masturbation due to fear of being caught by other family members.
Pubococcygeus muscle
Contraction of pubococcygeus muscle which causes the penis to be extra sensitive, and in turn causes premature ejaculation.
Too focused on the experience and pleasure of their partner instead of their own needs, which may cause premature ejaculation more easily.
Physiological Factor
Premature ejaculation can be caused by an over-sensitive sympathetic nervous system or too high level of testosterone due to diseases or use of medications.
